Here we are coming up to Elephant Island earlier today. We had a lot of trepidation in anticipation of crossing the Drake Passage, but it turned out to be a non event.
As we arrived at Elelphant Island we saw a number of different whales and lot's of Penguins. Dad wasn't able to get the Whales on film, but we did get some Penguins.

Given all your studies before you left, what has surprised you the most? What didn't you expect?
